We have created some turorial videos to help new users of our sites administration area.  These videos will help you understand how to use the funcrions of your new site to create content, and add graphics.

video.jpgCategory and Section Creation - Categories, and Sections are needed to add any content.  By categorizing your content, it makes it easier to file and easier for your visitors to find what they are looking for.  This video will show you how to ad these two building blocks to your site.

video.jpg Creating Content - Content is one of the most important part of a site.  Adding new content on a regular basis brings visitors back.  This process is simple, and this video will help you learn this import process to maintaining your site.

video.jpg The Media Manager - Graphics add stayability to the visitor, and help tell a story better than words.  Small graphics add a visual appeal to any article, and does not add much load time for each page if use correctly.  This video help you to upload from your computer to be available to you when you add an article.

You can change the content, and add new content, categories, and put new menu items on the site all by yourself.

There will be some learning curve, but once you do something once, you will find it easy to repeat.

Now it is time to add some content to your website! In order to create the desired hierarchy, you need first to gain understanding of the classes of content that are included in Joomla. Those are sections, categories and content items.

image1.jpgThe highest level in the hierarchy is represented by the Sections. These can be managed through the Section Manager of the Content menu. Imagine the Sections as the file cabinet drawer that contain the folders (categories), filled with articles (content items).

This will give you an overview of how the site works. Please utilize all the functions of this site.
